What we handle
Steadfast AC Service is firefighter-owned and family owned, working out of unit C4 on FM 2978 in Tomball. We are a York dealer, but repair and maintenance is not limited to York equipment: we handle all makes and models, because most homes and businesses in this area run a mixed system by the time we get the call. Below is the full list of what we do, split so the two things people actually search for most, AC repair and AC installation, are easy to find first.

Most of the summer
Something is running and not cooling, or not running at all. We handle all makes and models, diagnose it in front of you and tell you plainly what it needs. If the honest answer is a twelve dollar part from a shop down the road, that is the answer you get. That approach is on the record: one customer's reviewed callout ended with the technician charging nothing and pointing him to a cheaper thermostat.

When repair stops making sense
Residential and commercial. We are a York dealer and we size the system to the house rather than to the box that fits the pad. Financing runs through Synchrony Financial, including same as cash plans, so a replacement in August does not have to be paid for in August. We also publish our own guideline cost ranges on the financing page rather than making you ask.
What a replacement involvesTwice a year, ideally
The visit that stops the August breakdown call. Coil and drain condition, refrigerant charge, electrical connections, capacitor and contactor wear, airflow. Most of what fails in a Gulf Coast summer announces itself months earlier, if somebody actually looks. Every completed job leaves our own service sticker on the unit, so whoever opens the panel next knows Steadfast was already there.
What gets checked
Residential
Cooling and heating share a system in most Tomball homes, and air quality is usually the complaint underneath the temperature one.
Commercial
A residential callout and a commercial one are not the same job. A closed sign on the door changes what a failure costs someone.
